Dr Rubna Daureeawo

Head of Litigation and Dispute Resolution

Dr Rubna heads the Litigation and Dispute Resolution arm of the Chambers since January 2011, bringing extensive experience and a strong strategic approach to contentious and advisory matters. She is recognised for delivering high-quality advocacy and clear solution-focused legal guidance across complex civil, commercial and public law disputes. In November 2024, she was elected as a Member of Parliament of Mauritius.

Dr Rubna holds a double LLB (Hons) degree in Mauritian Law from the University of Mauritius and in English Law from the University of London, UK. She subsequently completed the Bar Vocational Course at City University, UK and pursued an LLM in Arbitration from the same institution. In 2023, she was awarded a PhD in International Arbitration from the University of Mauritius.
